Exciting news for a Wednesday afternoon: We’re Xero Award Finalists for 2024, in 2 categories: Small Firm of the Year and Total Xero!
The Xero awards are an annual event, and award entries are reviewed by a panel of independent judges.
In 2023 we were also finalists in Small Firm of the Year and Total Xero, and Sharon was named Xero MVP in 2016. We’ve also been Small Firm of the Year and Total Xero finalists in previous years.
As Xero partners since 2012 these awards are huge news for us, empowering for our whole team, and provide reassurance to our clients that we know what we’re talking about when it comes to Xero.
Here’s Xero’s announcement of the 2024 finalists. They said the judges were so impressed by the submissions this year, but ours really shone through.

When we take clients on, we perform a thorough HealthCheck
One of the things we check is that the filed accounts agree to Xero. They very rarely agree, whereas our work is all performed inside of Xero, so we have one source of truth, always.
We’re also looking at how well Xero and it’s ecosystem of apps is being used, as well as how reliable the data is.
Xero and it’s ecosystem provide so many opportunities for small business owners to excel, and we’re here to share best practice with them.

Because we have access to reliable and up to date data with Xero, we can help business owners to look at where they are now, and where they could get to in the future.
Our whole reason for being is to make business owners’ lives easier. We do this by:
- Giving them time back by introducing efficiencies with Xero and it’s ecosystem. Today we met a client who spends 25 minutes to produce every invoice. With Xero it is likely to be less than five minutes!
- Working with business owners to look at their headline numbers, and then identifying where they can improve their profit and cash.
- We then set goals and actions for the next 12 months. Crucially we hold their hand throughout the
journey. We meet regularly to review their current numbers against the plan, and discuss wins and challenges.
