Truffle Market -This Little Accountant Went To Market…

The Truffle scheme helps to promote local businesses in Herefordshire, and to provide them with the help they need to grow – something that we at Kinder Pocock think is very important!

This years Truffle Market took place on 6 August in High Town Hereford, with loads of really cool people, from Wye Valley Brewery, Physio and Health Matters, Rural Concierge and tons more!

We decided to join the Truffle Market this year to share with local businesses the power of online solutions, including Vend, iZettle, Xero and Receipt Bank.  All of these solutions and more make running your business super quick and easy. Everything is online, easy to access, and all the solutions talk to each other, meaning less slog on the bookkeeping!

Sharon and Ellie rocked up to our Gazebo at 9am, facing our lovely friends Paul and Moira at Newton Court Cider, who kept us wonderfully refreshed, and had great success harnessing the power of iZettle to take card payments all day. Our lovely neighbours at TPG Disabled Aids and Rural Concierge kept us entertained, and Bromyard Travel Services had some amazing offers that got us all very excited for our holidays! Wye Bakes provided us with a plentiful supply of beautiful cupcakes, and Cotswold Mini kept the music playing all day to lift our spirits.

We were lucky enough to be joined by Elliot, our Vend rep and general IT genius from the iStore, and Tom, an iZettle guru who came all the way from London to be with us. In addition to keeping us motivated and caffeinated, they provided great interactive demos for loads of eager Truffle businesses, showing exactly how EPOS can help a business to grow. If you missed out this time, never fear, our dream team will be attending our next event in mid September.

We had a really successful and enjoyable day, getting to know other local businesses and showing Herefordshire how we think accountants should be – approachable, knowledgeable and slightly bonkers, with a never ending supply of cake and good humour 🙂

If you are interested in finding out about how we can help your small business, or on any of the solutions mentioned, we’d love to hear from you.
