Joining the team in 2024, I organise our clients’ numbers so they have a strong financial foundation to achieve the things they want. When their books are clean and clear, that’s when the really exciting stuff happens; they have the time and peace of mind to focus on making their business thrive!
One of my favourite parts of my role is developing individual relationships with our clients. I love building a strong, trusting partnership together as we help them get the most out of their business.
It’s safe to say no two days are the same in my role! There’s always a challenge or learning to be found, but I do it all with the support of a guiding team who are always willing to share their extensive knowledge.
In my spare time, I love seeking out an adrenaline-fuelled challenge. Whether it’s wakeboarding, snowboarding or zooming down a mountain bike trail, I don’t like to do anything by halves!
I joined Kinder with a desire to help people and go above and beyond the normal number cruncher stuff. Our clients really care about their people and for all the passion and hard work they put into their business, they deserve to be stress free. That’s why I do what I do. I create happy, stress-free business owners by taking the pain out of payroll. I help our clients streamline their processes and improve systems so they’re able to retain their people and build a lasting culture.
When I’m not at my desk you’ll probably find me in a field with my wife and labrador, Cooper. or working on our campervan build. I love getting out in the countryside and I’m always thinking about the next adventure.
Interesting fact: I was one of the smallest, most premature babies to be born in 1990 and dubbed a miracle baby by the press at 1 pound 6 ounces. If that’s not a reason to live life to its fullest, I don’t know what is!
If you want to know what’s going on at Kinder, I’m your gal. As Client Coordinator, I’m the helpful hub between our clients and the office team. This role combines two of my favourite things: I find fulfilment in making people feel happy and seen and I love organising things. There are a lot of things going on at the same time here. Caring about the clients and keeping them in the loop is really important to me. I can honestly say it’s never boring in my role! Every client I interact with is unique and has their own story to tell.
In my spare time, I’m a climbing instructor. My brain is always running at 4 million miles an hour and climbing is the thing that brings me quiet. Two of the kids I’ve taught have gone on to join climbing squads and represent the climbing centre – an accomplishment I am very proud of.
If I’m not climbing, you’ll mostly find me hanging out at home with my partner, step daughter and two dogs. My family are my rock and I adore them!
I may be an accountant, but it’s not about the books for me. I get my kicks from getting to know our clients, what makes them tick, their goals and setbacks. Then I use my expertise to give them everything they want. This job is about innovation and sharp thinking and I love that. I’m very curious by nature so when I’m not in a client meeting, I’m probably sussing out new software or tackling a conundrum with some good old-fashioned “out of the box” thinking.
I’m wildly proud of the Kinder team. Mostly I appreciate and admire how supportive and lovely they all are. If you’re one of our clients, those people will go the extra mile for you and then some. I’m proud to work alongside them.
When I’m not at work I’m with my boys, have my nose in a book or I’m dancing it all out in a zumba class.
My day-to-day work life involves preparing accounts and tax returns for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and individuals. I also assist in creating action plans for our clients and keeping them accountable to those plans! I love that Kinder is “online” and, as a lover of all things tech, I’m often assisting clients with complex Xero queries.
I’ve been at Kinder for nearly 10 years and love the connected, warm relationship the team has built together. I’m also a huge fan of the variety of clients we have, no two days are the same and I love it that way!
When I’m not working I’m usually spending quality time with my family and friends or out walking Millie the dog.
I look after our clients bookkeeping and deliver key information so they’re able to make the best business decisions. I am a lover of problem solving, numbers and people, so it’s safe to say I love what I do. In particular I enjoy showing clients a better way of doing things, saving them time and impacting their day-to-day life. So much is easily achieved through the software we use, like Xero and Dext. I love that Kinder is so invested in cloud accounting, to the huge benefit of our clients.
We’re a close knit team at Kinder – truly. We’re friends as well as colleagues, always supporting each other when we can, professionally and personally. I love this team!
When I’m not working I’m running around with my three awesome kids, touring in our caravan or singing around the home.
I joined the Kinder team in 2014 as an associate and I do our clients’ bookkeeping, VAT processing, payroll services and accounting support. I am self-employed and have my own clients too. I love working with the Kinder clients because they’re all so different in personality, goals and in how they operate. It keeps things different and varied each day, which is a must-have for someone like me. The fact Kinder encourages year-round accounting, rather than just tax season, means I really get to know who I’m helping and I really appreciate that.
There’s so much I love about the team but the stand out thing for me has to be their values. Everyone is true to their word, committed and respects each other’s input. They’re also great to chat with and good fun.
When I’m not at work, I’m out in the wild getting stuck into nature or yearning for a good piece of cake (who isn’t?).
I’m the go-to person for our clients, and manage all administrative tasks at Kinder. I’m here to help my colleagues and clients work smarter and make their lives less stressful. Our clients are driven business owners with big dreams so I really enjoy seeing their concerns diminish and goals open up the more they work with our team.
It’s hard to pinpoint just one thing I love about the company but I would say it’s probably our ethos and values. It creates this brilliant, safe environment where we’re always looking out for the client, and each other.
When I’m not working I’m listening to music while I cook, or reading a really good book.
I’m the go-to person for any enquiries pertaining to Xero, payroll, accounts or general accounting. My main aim is to make sure our clients always find everything easy and simple to understand. It’s why I love the software we use. There’s no more stacks of paperwork, their business always has real-time numbers and accounting processes are so much quicker.
I always enjoy a good chat and cup of tea with the Kinder team. They’re an incredibly warm and welcoming group of individuals (to employees, prospects and clients alike!).
When I’m not working I’m busy fundraising for some local charities, baking or belly-laughing with good friends.
I’ve been helping clients achieve their goals for nearly 30 years and now run a bespoke financial advisory business called Fern Financial Planning and act as an external support advisor to Kinder and their clients. We provide ‘lifelong planning’ which is where we take a client’s assets and income and project how that looks in their future.
I provide advice and bespoke solutions so clients can meet their own financial goals. This can include working out when they can retire, help reduce taxes and inheritance planning. There’s nothing more satisfying that finding a suitable strategy to help people get to where they want to go in life!
Sharon and I have been working alongside each other since 2006, providing #joinedupthinking to our mutual clients, who love this supportive approach.
When I’m not in the office, I’m busy working on the family home, busy making something and trying to keep fit!
